The Friends of Emsworth Community Health Alliance pulls together an understanding of local health and wellbeing services, identifying unmet needs, and planning to work together with the community to meet them
The group, which started in 2021, includes all the churches, local schools, many of the volunteer services, the Community Centre and sports and social clubs, and has brought in other services, for example Citizens Advice
The main areas of concern that have been identified include older people who may be isolated, frail, or developing dementia, families in poverty, and children with special educational needs.
This Directory aims to make the health and wellbeing services in Emsworth and around as accessible as possible
The creation of this would not have been possible without the generous gift of time and patience of Judy and Liz, from Emsworth Good Neighbours, who contacted service providers and voluntary groups to gather their input. We have also been freely given invaluable technical and design input by James Scott of Mindworks in Emsworth
