We aim to support health and well-being of the community of Emsworth and the surrounding area. We give grants to organisations for projects to support this aim and we manage The Friends Community Garden for the benefit of all. We sponsor The Alliance and this website.

Social Prescribers work with the doctors and nurses to help care for those long-term health conditions, feelings of loneliness and isolation as well as complex social needs.
We can put you in touch with people and activities that might help you to feel better. We can support and guide you to be introduced to a community group, a new activity or a local club.

A 16-seater minibus driven by volunteer drivers. The bus has handrails and electric side step and access ramp for wheelchairs to cater for those less mobile. Used for shopping, medical appointments & social visits around Emsworth, Thorney Island, Hambrook, The Bournes and Havant Tesco. The regular service is FREE. Click below for more details.

A singing group for people living with Dementia, or with memory loss.
This is a popular group where people living with Dementia, together with their carers, can enjoy singing and all the health benefits that brings. This monthly activity is free of charge.

The Emsworth Sports and Social Club is a local club that provides many activities for its members including darts, snooker, bowls bar billiards, bridge, bingo, diving, chess & fishing. Sporting events via Sky TV. Entertainment & Private Functions on Saturdays and a Sunday afternoon Meat Raffle. Slimming World meets Friday Mornings & Monday Nights. A family friendly club for all ages.

We now have drop-in sessions on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month in Emsworth Baptist Church from 10am to 2pm. Our office in the Meridian Centre Havant is open Mon. to Fri. 10am to 3pm by appointment. Drop-in subject to availability.
Citizens Advice Havant is a local charity that offers free confidential advice in person, with topics including welfare benefits, housing, employment and debt. Practical help is available with form filling and letter writing. Interpreters can be accessed if needed.
